Stratosphere Networks Sponsors Interfaith Youth Core's 2016 Signature Luncheon

IT managed service provider supports gathering focused on faith and politics

CHICAGO - Stratosphere Networks, a Chicago-based IT managed service provider, will sponsor Interfaith Youth Core's 2016 Signature Luncheon, "Diversity, Disagreement, and Democracy," at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business downtown location on Friday, October 28.

Hundreds of Chicago leaders in education, business, and the social sector will attend the non-partisan civic event, which focuses on the question of how people of different faiths can find common ground and productively engage in civic life. "The 21st century will be defined by our ability or inability to positively engage people of diverse faiths and no faith toward the common good," IFYC states.

Speakers will include IFYC Founder and President Eboo Patel and Krista Tippett, the host and executive producer of On Being and a Peabody Award-winning broadcaster. The conversation will be moderated by Steve Edwards, who has covered public policy and politics for the BBC, PBS, Bloomberg News, and various public radio stations.

"We're happy to support Interfaith Youth Core in bringing some of Chicago's best and brightest together to discuss politics, faith, and civic engagement," said Kevin Rubin, president and COO of Stratosphere Networks. "Now more than ever, it's important to foster civil dialogue about those issues."

The event will be co-hosted by On Being, the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, and the Social Enterprise Initiative at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

"It is our pleasure to count Stratosphere Networks as a supporter of IFYC's work with colleges and universities from coast to coast," said Amber Hacker, vice president of operations and communications for Interfaith Youth Core. "Stratosphere Networks not only provides IFYC excellent IT services, but they also recognize the importance of our work—building bridges of interfaith understanding."
